Stock Blockchain Ledger & Spreadsheet App
This app allows you to track stock price entries over time while maintaining a secure blockchain ledger for every entry. It also lets you export your trade/price history into a spreadsheet (CSV file) for recordkeeping.
Features
Sequential Stock Tracking – Input stock symbol, price, and timestamp.
Blockchain Ledger – Every entry is chained securely with a cryptographic hash.
Data Integrity – Each new block validates the previous one, making tampering nearly impossible.
Spreadsheet Export – Save all records into a downloadable .csv file.
Multi-Page Navigation – Simple navigation between input form, ledger view, and blockchain details.
How to Use
1. Start a New Entry
Go to Page 1 - Stock Entry.
Enter:
Stock Symbol (e.g., AAPL, TSLA, AMZN)
Current Price
Timestamp (auto-generated, but you can override if needed)
Click “Submit Entry.”
This creates a new block in the blockchain.
2. Add More Stock Records
Navigate to Page 2 - Spreadsheet View.
Each new entry will appear in the table.
You can enter as many new records as you want — each one is chained cryptographically to the last.
3. View Blockchain Integrity
Go to Page 3 - Blockchain Ledger.
You’ll see:
Block Index
Timestamp
Stock Data
Hash & Previous Hash
Each block references the previous hash to ensure immutability.
4. Save Your Records
On Page 2, click “Download Spreadsheet.”
A .csv file will be generated with all your data.
You can open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet software.
Example Workflow
Each block secures the previous, forming a tamper-proof trade history ledger.
Why Blockchain Here?
Each stock entry = block.
Each block has:
Index
Timestamp
Stock Data (symbol & price)
Hash (unique fingerprint)
Previous Hash (link to the block before it).
Changing any past entry breaks the chain.
This guarantees an unbreakable, transparent history of stock trades.
In short:
Use Page 1 to enter stock data.
Use Page 2 to see & save your spreadsheet.
Use Page 3 to confirm blockchain integrity.
